While walking in Aewol-Handam Park appreciating the splendid scenery, our fatigue body and mind seem to be healed and recovered. It feels like that the worries which have bothered our head disappear as we enjoy the clear and quiet atmosphere of the park.  Before entering the trail, you can see the magnificent scenery of the seashore at the front of the parking lot. Every tourist who visits the park by car or scooter is fascinated by the scenery, and they just exclaims. They cannot help taking a picture of the sight. People also put some stones of their own wishes on the stone towers which have been piled up with the wishing stones of other tourists.  Walking down the short sloping road from the parking lot, you can see the winding and curved trail. The trail is quite long way, about 1.2km, from Aewol-eup Handam village leading to Gwak-Ji beach. Walking the trail is never boring. You can experience the real, still nature as you walk into the forest. It is quite interesting to look over the various shapes of the rocks which have their own names in their tags. When you look deep into the forest, you can find the lovely unnamed wild flowers and grasses. If you feel somewhat tired from walking, it is good to stand on the way calmly staring at the beautiful emerald-colored sea for a while. In Jeju Aewol-Handam Park, you need to spend your time slowly. It is a place for ‘unhurriedness and relaxation.’

Jeju Aewol-Handam Park has its own vitality—the smell of the sea with the refreshing sounds of the waves, unfamiliar names of the plant and rocks which welcome you here and there in the trail, the local people who keeps throwing their nets on the sparkling blue sea. While you walk and walk in Jeju Aewol-Handam Park, you can meet the new and different sights every time.
